Vinyl Pack specs

Material choices for mixed vinyl orders
Vinyl Pack specs list the material options, cut requirements, sizes, and packing details for combined vinyl orders. Multi-item branding jobs need accurate stock, sizing, and packing details before production starts.
List each item in the pack by use, such as window vinyl, counter decal, door hours, or fascia strip. Note whether you need monomeric, polymeric, frosted, perforated, or reflective stock so the cut and print settings match the application. Durban seafront sites, Highveld sun, and freezer-adjacent glazing can each shift the material call.
Include one marked-up photo for every surface type in the order, not just a wide shot of the storefront. Measurements should show overall panel size, visible area, and any handles, trims, rivets, or silicone lines that interrupt the graphic. That record helps when one branch needs a reprint without remaking the whole pack spec.
Cut lines, bleed, and panel joins
Set artwork at final size where possible and show cut paths on a separate layer. Printed vinyl pieces need bleed, while contour-cut marks need clear spacing around letters and edges to prevent lifting during weeding and fitment. If a long run must be tiled, state the overlap and join direction before production starts.
For combined orders, match every graphic to its branch code, quantity, and packed size on one sheet. Use the contact form to send the job scope, then attach artwork and any install notes that affect trimming, lamination, or packing. Check the final list against the courier carton count so window sets and smaller decals do not split across different parcels.

SA conditions that affect vinyl
Cape Town wind, Durban salt air, and Gauteng dust all change prep and life expectancy. Older shopfront glass can carry baked-on adhesive, tint film, or paint overspray, which must be noted before a spec is signed off. Multi-branch retail work also needs attention to courier handling between Johannesburg, Pretoria, Bloemfontein, and smaller towns.
Application temperature matters on morning installs and winter fitments, especially on shaded glass and metal. Laminated prints for outward-facing windows may need a different finish from indoor promo decals where glare is the issue. Loadshedding can interrupt print scheduling, so file names, quantities, and panel order must stay clear across the whole pack.

Cut lines and panel joins
Send branch name, item list, sizes, quantities, and the exact surfaces receiving vinyl. Mention any previous failure such as edge curl, shrinkage, silvering, or adhesive residue so the spec reflects the problem site.
Store the approved spec with the job card, artwork files, and packing list for the full order. When one decal, strip, or window panel is damaged later, the recorded material, finish, and cut size make reprints more accurate.
